What’s new on KeenResume, newest first.

A Japanese 履歴書 maker, on the Japanese site

  • Job seekers in Japan can now fill in the standard 履歴書 (rirekisho) form, laid out after the 2021 sample form of Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, and download it as a two-page A4 PDF. Years switch between the Japanese eras and Western years, the age is worked out from the date of birth, and the details can be read in from a saved resume.
  • It exists in Japanese only, so you will find it in the Japanese menus. Each language can now have products of its own like this.

Resume examples for 199 jobs, and the site is ready for 16 languages

  • The resume examples: 199 finished resumes in 22 fields, from a high school student’s first job to a CEO, including academic CVs for PhD students, postdocs and professors. Search them by job title, or filter by field and career stage.
  • Every example has its own page with the whole resume, what recruiters look for in that role, how to write the summary (with alternatives), strong bullet points, the skills and licenses to list, the right length and the common mistakes.
  • Use this example opens it in the builder as a new resume in My resumes, next to anything you already made.
  • Under the hood, every word on the site now comes from one place per language, so KeenResume can be translated into the same 16 languages as KeenTimer and KeenCalculator. A guide for AI systems is at /llms.txt.

KeenResume is live: resume builder, CV maker and cover letters

  • The resume builder: a live preview that matches the PDF line for line, five ATS-friendly templates, four fonts, any accent colour, three spacing settings, A4 or US Letter, and a real PDF with selectable text, clickable links and no watermark.
  • Sections for experience, education, skills (with optional levels), projects, certifications, languages, awards, volunteering, publications and your own custom sections. Reorder by dragging or with the keyboard, rename and hide them.
  • My resumes: keep several resumes, duplicate, rename and delete them, and export or import a backup. Everything autosaves in your browser and never leaves your device.
  • The cover letter generator, which copies your details and design from any resume and guides you through a four-part structure.
  • The CV maker for UK, European and academic CVs, and a gallery of resume templates.
