About KeenResume

What this is

KeenResume is a free resume builder, CV maker and cover letter generator. You fill in your details, choose one of five clean templates, and download a real PDF, with no account, no watermark and no paywall at the end. The resume examples show finished resumes for hundreds of jobs, written with recruiters’ advice, and any of them can be opened in the builder as a starting point.

We built it because nearly every “free” resume builder turns out not to be: you spend an hour on your resume, then hit a payment screen or a watermark at the download button. Looking for a job is stressful enough. We wanted a builder that is honest about being free, produces a PDF that recruiters and applicant tracking systems can read, and keeps something as personal as your work history on your own device.

How it works

Every page is static HTML served from Cloudflare’s network. The editor, the live preview and the PDF are all made by your browser: the same layout engine measures every line for the preview and for the PDF, which is written on your device with embedded open-source fonts (Inter, Noto Sans, Source Serif and EB Garamond). Your resume is never sent to a server.

Nothing you type is uploaded, and there is no account to create. What you save stays in your browser on this device; the privacy policy lists exactly what that is.

Who makes it

KeenResume is made and run by AREALME, the team behind KeenCalculator, KeenTimer, KeenInvoice, KeenWheel, KeenText, and KeenSignature. The Keen sites share one idea: fast, honest tools that do one job well and keep your data on your device.
